NOTES: CU has lost its past five matches against UCLA in a series the Bruins lead 12-2…Despite suffering its first loss of the season with a 1-0 decision at Stanford on Friday, the Bruins retained the top spot in this week’s top 25. Stanford, which the Buffs visit next week, moved up two spots to No. 7…This will be the fifth time CU has hosted the nation’s top-ranked team and the second year in a row after suffering a 2-1 loss early last season against No. 1 Florida State. Including road games, the Buffs are 0-9 all-time against top-ranked foes…Colorado begins the weekend at No. 70 in the RPI and will be challenged to gain ground over the final three weeks of the regular season and play ranked teams in four of the final five games…Since the start of the 2021 season, CU has gone winless (0-4-3) against ranked opponents…The Buffs complete a tough homestand on Sunday against No. 15 USC (Pac-12 Los Angeles).
