NOTES: This is the Pac-12 Conference opener for both teams…CU extended its program-best start to a season to 9-0 with a home-and-home sweep of Colorado State last week…The Buffs have lost six consecutive matches and eight of the past nine against Washington State. CU also has lost its past five contests at WSU…CU doubled its point total (64 to 128) in this week’s AVCA top 25 poll while moving up one spot to No. 24…After entering 2021 with a 12-game losing streak on the road, the Buffs won all three of their previous road matches this season (Charlotte, Illinois, Colorado State)…CU hosts No. 15 Utah in a top-25 showdown on Friday (7 p.m., Pac-12 Networks).
