The University of Colorado soccer team rolled past Colorado Mines 3-0 on Wednesday in a game that was added earlier this week.
The game filled the spot that was left by Colorado State in what was supposed to be last Thursday’s season opener. The addition puts Colorado back to nine home matches this season.
CU scored all three goals in the first half with Hannah Duguid, Kayleigh Webb and Shrya James netting goals in the easy win. The Buffs moved to 2-0 on the season.
Colorado goalie Bella Grust had four saves in the shutout victory.
The Buffs have a big challenge next on their schedule. No. 1 Florida State visits Boulder on Sunday for an 11:30 a.m. kickoff at Prentup Field.
