3-star OLB commits to CU Buffs

Kaden Ludwick is the third player to commit this month

A busy month in recruiting has led to another verbal commitment for the Colorado football program.

On Wednesday, Kaden Ludwick, an outside linebacker from Clackamas, Ore., gave his verbal commitment to the Buffaloes for the class of 2022.

Rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports.com and Rivals.com, Ludwick is the third player to commit to CU this month. The Buffs have already had 21 official visitors this month, with about 10 more scheduled.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Ludwick took an unofficial visit to CU earlier this month. He also visited Air Force, which has also offered him a scholarship, on that trip. Ludwick also has offers from Washington State, Idaho and Nevada.

Ludwick is rated the No. 8 player in Oregon and a top-100 linebacker nationally by 247Sports.com.

CU’s 2022 commitment list also includes tight end Zach Courtney (Post, Texas); safety Dylan Dixson (Pearland, Texas); cornerback Ronald Lewis (New Orleans); defensive end Carlton Madden (Ellenwood, Ga.); quarterback Owen McCown (Rusk, Texas); cornerback Keyshon Mills (Little Elm, Texas); and running back Victor Venn (Buford, Ga.)
