KEY PLAYERS (top returning with 2020 stats): Colorado — A Charlie Rudy, Jr., (20 goals, four assists); A Chloe Willard, Jr., (10 goals, six assists); A Sadie Grozier, Sr., (10 goals, two assists); GK Julia Lisella, Sr., (.484 save percentage, 10.40 goals-against average). Vanderbilt — MF Bri Gross, Jr. (25 goals, 10 assists); A Gabby Fornia, Sr. (12 goals, 17 assists); A Karlie Bucci, Jr. (nine goals, eight assists); GK Paige Gunning, So. (.374 save percentage, 14.90 goals-against average).

NOTES: The Buffs opened the season with a 12-9 loss on Thursday at Louisville. Grozier scored four goals while Rudy and Liz Phillips added two goals apiece…Vanderbilt opened its season last week with a 19-5 loss at No. 2 Notre Dame. Five different players scored goals for the Commodores…Vanderbilt went 4-5 last year before the remainder of the 2020 season was canceled…This will be the first matchup between the Buffs and Vanderbilt…The Buffs will try to avoid the first 0-2 start in the program’s eight-season history…CU is scheduled to play its next five games at home, beginning with the home opener against the University of Denver on Feb. 28.
