The Colorado lacrosse team will being the season ranked 24th in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association poll, which was released on Monday.

The Buffaloes are eager to get going again after being able to play just five games in 2020 before the season was canceled because of the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and on Monday they learned they picked up 98 points as one of three Pac-12 Conference teams in the poll.

While North Carolina is the preseason favorite, Southern California is ranked 13th, and Stanford comes in at 23rd.

The Buffs, who return 10 starters, have not yet released their 2021 schedule.
