But, there’s a season, nonetheless.
On Monday, the Pac-12 released full schedules for all teams and laid out how the conference schedule will be played. Each team will play all 11 Pac-12 opponents in games that could toward the standings, in addition to one rivalry game scheduled for the third weekend in March that is a nonconference match.
Colorado, who last played a game on Nov. 22, 2019 in the second round of the NCAA tournament, will open the 2021 season with three straight home games beginning with a Feb. 6 match against Denver in what has become a good rivalry in recent seasons. The Buffs continue regional nonconference play against Northern Colorado on Feb. 13 and first-time opponent Weber State on Feb. 20.
In addition to games against all Pac-12 teams in a regular season that lasts through April 16, CU will also play Washington and Utah in nonconference games. Both of those nonconference games are on the road.
The Buffs will host UCLA and USC on March 12 and 14, Washington State on March 27, and then will close the season with three home games against Arizona, Arizona State and Utah.
