Colorado basketball fans forced to stay at home in order to follow their favorite team can now plot a plan of attack for the first portion of the 2020-21 season.
On Wednesday, CU announced the tipoff times and television info for most of its November and December schedule, including next week’s opening games against South Dakota and Kansas State, as well as the two Pac-12 Conference games in December.
The opener Nov. 25 against South Dakota, hosted by Kansas State, will tip off at 6 p.m. MT and air on ESPN+. The date against the host Wildcats two nights later tips at 6:30 p.m. MT and airs on ESPNU.
The start of college basketball will mark the return of the Pac-12 Network broadcasting live games, and the Buffs’ Pac-12 opener at Arizona on Dec. 2 will air on the league’s network with a 6 p.m. MT tipoff. The home opener on Dec. 5 against Washington State also will air on the Pac-12 Networks, but the tip time has not yet been settled.
The three consecutive home games that follow — Colorado State (Dec. 8, 6 p.m.), Northern Colorado (Dec. 14, 7 p.m.), and Omaha (Dec. 16, 3 p.m.) — all will be carried by Pac-12 Networks.
The tipoff and television info for CU’s final two nonconference games in Las Vegas, against Washington on Dec. 20 and Grand Canyon on Dec. 22, will be announced at a later date, as will the remainder of the Pac-12 schedule. The Buffs open the more traditional portion of the league schedule on the road against the Los Angeles schools over New Year’s weekend before returning home for consecutive series against the Oregon schools and the Bay Area teams.
