Eaglecrest High School receiver Ty Robinson is coming to Boulder.

On Monday, Robinson announced that he has verbally committed to Colorado for the class of 2021.

“I’m excited to announce for the next 4-5 years I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of COLORADO!!,” Robinson wrote on Twitter.

A 6-foot-4, 190-pound receiver, Robinson has a three-star rating from 247Sports.com and Rivals.com. According to Rivals.com, he has eight other scholarship offers, including from Colorado State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oregon State and Utah.

Last year, Robinson caught 35 passes for 861 yards and two touchdowns. He also averaged 13.3 points per game for the basketball team.

Robinson is the 14th player to commit to CU for 2021. Both receivers on CU’s commitment list are from Colorado, as Robinson joins Cherry Creek’s Chase Penry in the class.
