Another quarterback prospect is joining the Colorado Buffaloes.
On Thursday, the Buffs received a verbal commitment from 2020 dual-threat quarterback Mike Chandler, who announced his decision via his Twitter account. Chandler will join the Buffs as a walk-on and is expected to be in the mix if the opening of preseason practice kicks off as planned on Aug. 17.
Chandler is ranked as a three-star prospect by 247Sports.com, which lists Chandler at 6-foot, 185-pounds. He is from Converse, Tex., and played at Judson High School.
Chandler’s addition arrives just three days after the Buffs secured a verbal commitment from Drew Carter, a three-star prospect for the 2021 class out of Portland.
