One of the greatest wins in Colorado football history will be featured on Thursday night.

ESPN will air the “Miracle at Michigan” for its Throwback Thursday: College Football Classics, starting at 5 p.m. MT.

Ranked No. 7 in the country at the time, CU stunned the No. 4 Michigan Wolverines, 27-26, on a 64-yard Hail Mary pass from Kordell Stewart to Michael Westbrook on the final play.

CU would go on to finish the season at 11-1 and ranked No. 3 in the final polls.

ESPN’s presentation of the game will feature segments with Stewart and Michigan’s Tyrone Wheatley, along with ESPN broadcaster Chris Fowler, who is a CU alum.

CU will host a Facebook chat at 4 p.m. MT with several of players from the 1994 team, including Stewart, Westbrook, and receiver Blake Anderson, along with coach Rick Neuheisel, who was the Buffs’ quarterbacks/receivers coach that season.

The Facebook chat will be at www.facebook.com/cubuffsfootball/live/
