It’s the first time CU has received a vote in the poll since the week of Jan. 9, 2017. … This game completes a three-game homestand for the Buffs, who will play at Xavier on Friday. … The Buffs have three players averaging double-figures in points: Hollingshed (13.8), Quinessa Caylao-Do (11.5) and Sherrod (10.3). Emma Clarke isn’t far behind, at 9.5 per game. … CU and Texas Southern have played one other time, with CU taking a 64-29 victory on Dec. 14, 2007, in Boulder. … One of the best women’s players in history, Cooper-Dyke is familiar with CU after being the head coach at Southern California for four seasons, from 2013-17. This is also in her second stint at TSU, having coached the Tigers during the 2012-13 season. … This will be Texas Southern’s third game against a Pac-12 opponent. The Tigers lost at Oregon, 99-63, on Nov. 16, and at home against Utah, 61-52, on Nov. 22. … In addition to Mitchell’s team-high 17.6 points per game, Cryor averages 16.4 for the Tigers.
