NOTES: At No. 31 this week in the RPI heading into the regular-season finale, the Buffs will be in solid position for an NCAA Tournament berth with a win or a tie…Utah endured a six-game winless streak (0-5-1) before posting a 1-0 win at Washington on Sunday…CU might be seeking payback for a 1-0 loss to the Utes at home in last year’s regular season finale that basically kept the Buffs out of the NCAA Tournament. Utah’s Stodden, a Broomfield High graduate, scored the game-winner in her return to her home state. It remains Stodden’s only collegiate goal, though she leads the Utes in assists this season…Since joining the Pac-12, CU is just 2-4-2 against Utah…Kornieck’s 11th goal of the season in Sunday’s loss at Washington State matched her career-high and moved her into a tie for the fourth-most goals in a season in CU history. Kornieck also scored 11 goals as a freshman in 2016, and she played alongside the two other players with 11 goals in a season in Tatum Barton (2018) and Danica Evans (2016)…The 64-team NCAA Tournament field will be announced Monday.
