NOTES: This is the first of four consecutive home games for the Buffs…Spann posted a career-high 27 kills in CU’s near-upset at Cal on Sunday, with the Buffs instead dropping a five-set decision in what was the closest five-set match in CU history (Cal won 25-23, 25-22, 24-26, 25-27, 16-14)…Washington State is coming off a five-set loss at home against Arizona State. The Cougars had won their previous four games…WSU is in a crowded pack in the middle of the Pac-12 standings as one of four teams tied for fourth….CU leads the all-time series against WSU 10-6, but the Cougars have won four of the past five meetings…The Buffs host No. 9 Washington on Sunday at 1 p.m. It will be CU’s fourth consecutive match against a ranked foe.
