Colorado spotlight on …

Nate Landman

Position: Inside linebacker

Height: 6-3

Weight: 230

Year: Junior

Numbers: Landman leads the Buffs with 60 tackles (33 more than anyone else), including 51 solo stops and one tackle for loss. He’s also got five third-down stops. For his career, he’s made 200 tackles.

Potential impact vs. Oregon: While Landman hasn’t had the impact plays (tackles for loss, sacks, interceptions) that he had last year, he’s been very good against the run and will be a key to the Buffs limiting the Ducks’ effectiveness on the ground.

Landman said: “Definitely a challenge (going against Oregon’s highly touted offensive line), but I’m also excited. I think playing against the best guys elevates your game and the guys’ game around you. We’re not shying away from that. We’re kind of inviting that O-line and we’re excited to play them just because they’re such a great O-line and the stuff they do on film. I’m excited, the guys are excited and I have full confidence in our front seven to be able to stop the run.”
