Three-star LB commits to CU Buffs

Another Georgia native pledges to Tucker’s team

Leaving Georgia hasn’t stopped Mel Tucker from recruiting the Peach State.

On Tuesday, linebacker Jayland Parker from Westside High School in Macon, Ga., announced that he has verbally committed to sign with the Buffaloes for the class of 2020.

Parker is the 13th player on Colorado’s commitment list and the third from Georgia.

A three-star prospect, Parker has more than two dozen offers, including from Colorado State, Houston and 13 other Power 5 schools.

Listed at 6-foot-2, 207 pounds by 247Sports.com, Parker took an official visit to CU last month.
