The CU volleyball team will host two tournaments this coming season and will welcome national champ Stanford to Boulder on Nov. 24.

After finishing with an 18-14 record in 2018, including a 10-10 mark in the Pac-12, the Colorado volleyball team announced Monday its 2019 schedule which includes 17 home matches, an appearance in the BIG TEN/Pac-12 Challenge at Iowa and hosting the Buffs Invitational and Colorado Classic.

Everything kicks off on Aug. 24 with the Black and Gold scrimmage, and the Buffaloes will begin the regular season Aug. 30 against Wyoming in the 2019 Buffs Invitational — a tournament that also includes UC Santa Barbara and Long Island University Brooklyn.

Colorado and Colorado State will play a home-and-home series — at Moby on Sept. 12 and then at the CU Events Center the next night. Pac-12 play will begin Sept. 25 with CU traveling, and the first conference home games will be the Los Angeles schools on Oct. 11 and 13. The latter of the two matches, against UCLA, will be broadcast on ESPN2.

The final eight matches of the season begin with a long four-match road stretch to Los Angeles and the Washington schools. The Buffs play at UCLA  and USC on Nov. 7 and 9. National champ Stanford comes to the Events Center on Nov. 24.

CU plays four matches in the final nine days of the season.
