The Colorado women’s basketball team has added another player to its 2019 recruiting class.

On Wednesday, the Buffaloes announced they have signed Zuzanna Kulinska, a 5-foot-11 guard and native of Gdynia, Poland.

“We are so excited to welcome Zuzia to Boulder and our Buff family,” CU head coach JR Payne said in a press release from the school. “Zuzia will be a great addition to our backcourt over the next four years. She brings a wealth of international experience and a tenacity that is very rare. Buff fans will love the way that Zuzia plays this great game.”

Last season, Kulinska played at the New York Military Academy (NYMA) and earned MVP honors in the New England Private School Athletic Conference Class E Championship. She also earned league MVP honors, averaging 24.3 points.

Kulinska also lettered in tennis and volleyball at NYMA.

Representing Poland, she has averaged 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists in FIBA international play.

Kulinska is the fifth member of CU’s 2019 class, joining guard Jaylyn Sherrod and forwards Maura Singer, Raanee Smith and Charlotte Whittaker.

Of the 13 players on scholarship for the Buffs, 10 are underclassmen and only four have been at CU for more than one season.
