Colorado lacrosse’s Stinson earns Pac-12 weekly honors for second time this season

Colorado senior lacrosse player Miranda Stinson earned Pac-12 offensive player of the week honors on Monday after the Buffs secured back-to-back wins to start conference play. It is already Stinson’s second honor of the early season.

In CU’s upset of then No. 15-ranked Stanford on March 8, Stinson had four goals and a pair of assists, and she followed that up with a school single-game record eight goals in a 17-11 win against California.

Her 14 points helped the Buffs maintain their position of 23rd in the IWLCA poll, with Stanford (18th) and USC (22nd) the only conference teams ahead of them.
