The Colorado volleyball team is putting together a stirring run toward a potential NCAA Tournament berth, posting a third consecutive win on the road Wednesday at UCLA. It also was the Buffaloes’ fifth win in their last six road games, and adding one more victory to that run Friday at Utah would bolster the Buffs’ growing tournament resume. A look at the matchup:

Notes: The Buffs had gone just 1-6 at UCLA before sweeping the Bruins on Wednesday…CU goes into the regular season finale in a three-way tie for fifth-place in the Pac-12, alongside Arizona and Washington…The Buffs have won three consecutive road games in the Pac-12 for the first time since joining the conference…Senior Naghede Abu broke the program record for career blocks during Wednesday’s win at UCLA…Utah leads the all-time series 9-11…The Buffs opened Pac-12 play with a five-set win at home against the Utes on Sept. 19. CU senior Alexa Smith led the way that night with 15 kills and 23 digs…Utah earned a sweep at No. 15 USC on Wednesday and has won four of its past five games.
