Colorado senior Naghede Abu is just one block away from matching the Buffs’ career record.

The Colorado volleyball team made a big move in its quest to get back to the NCAA Tournament last weekend, defeating Oregon State and nationally-ranked Oregon on the road. The Buffaloes have one final road trip and two more games to cement those credentials, beginning Wednesday afternoon at UCLA. A look at the matchup:

Notes: Senior middle blocker Naghede Abu needs just one block to match Meghan Barman’s CU career record of 565. Abu set a Buffs single-game record with 17 blocks during Sunday’s win at Oregon State…The two wins in Oregon last week boosted CU’s RPI ranking to 46…CU enters the final weekend of the regular season tied for sixth in the Pac-12…The Buffs and UCLA are the first two teams listed among other teams receiving votes in this week’s national top 25…The Bruins have lost four of their past five matches…CU closes the regular season Friday at Utah (noon, Pac-12 Network).
