There is no rest for the weary in the Pac-12 Conference volleyball schedule.

The Colorado Buffaloes snapped a run of five losses in six games on Sunday with a sweep of Oregon State. But the Buffaloes will be challenged to build on that momentum this weekend, as Friday’s battle at No. 25 Arizona will be the seventh top-25 foe in nine league games. A look at the matchup:

Records: CU 11-8, 3-5 Pac-12 Conference; Arizona 13-6, 3-5.

Notes: The Buffs and Arizona begin the weekend tied for eighth in the Pac-12 along with Utah … CU senior middle blocker Naghede Abu completed Sunday’s sweep of Oregon State with 500 career kills, becoming just the second Buffs player to reach that mark. Abu trails only Meghan Barkman (565) among the Buffs’ all-time leaders … Junior libero Rachel Whipple recorded a career-best 25 digs last week against Oregon … The Buffs have won their past seven matches against Arizona to take an 8-6 lead in the all-time series … CU plays at Arizona State on Sunday (3 p.m. MT, Pac-12 Network). The Sun Devils dropped out of the top 25 after being ranked 25th last week…The Buffs will hit the midpoint of the Pac-12 schedule after completing the Arizona trip.
