The Colorado women’s soccer team remained unbeaten in tough conditions Thursday, battling to a 1-1 draw in 100-degree heat at Arizona State. The road trip continues for the 18th-ranked Buffaloes Sunday at Arizona in a venue where the Buffs have won two of three previous matches. A look at Sunday’s Pac-12 showdown:

Notes: With an assist on Jorian Baucom’s goal at ASU, Emily Groark already has matched the CU season record for assists by a freshman with seven. Kate Russell also recorded seven assists as a freshman in 2008. Groak has collected an assist in three of the past four games…CU and the Wildcats played to a scoreless draw last year in Boulder…The Buffs have lost just once in seven previous games against the Wildcats, going 3-1-3…UA opened league play with a 2-0 loss against top-ranked Stanford but defeated Utah 2-1 on Thursday…UA’s Porter and Kelcey Cavara are graduate’s of Columbine High, just like CU’s Barton…Arizona’s Hailey Mazzola, a senior midfielder from Broomfield, has appeared in six games for the Wildcats…The Buffs return home to play No. 9 Washington State on Thursday and Washington on Oct. 7.
