Yet another talented receiver is heading to Boulder.
On Thursday, four-star recruit Tarik Luckett, from San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) JSerra High School gave his verbal commitment the Colorado football team for the class of 2019.
“This is what I’ve been dreaming of ever since I was a kid!” he wrote on Twitter.
Luckett has nine other scholarship offers, including from Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State and Colorado State.
In 2017, he caught 53 passes for 923 yards and eight touchdowns. This season he has 10 catches for 183 yards and two scores for the Lions (4-0).
Luckett is the 19th player to commit to CU for the 2019 class. It’s a class that also includes four-star receiver Braedin Huffman-Dixon.
In 2017, the Buffs signed receivers KD Nixon, Laviska Shenault, Maurice Bell and Jaylon Jackson. In the 2018 class, the Buffs signed Daniel Arias, Dimitri Stanley and Dylan Thomas. All seven receiver s were rated three-stars or higher coming out of high school.
Luckett is scheduled to take his official visit to CU this weekend.
