Notes: The Buffs’ home opener is the last of three consecutive Colorado Cup games at Prentup. The Sunday tripleheader begins with Colorado College taking on DU at 11 a.m. followed by Air Force against Northern Colorado at 1:15 p.m….The Buffs topped Air Force 3-0 in their season opener Thursday, getting goals from Kayleigh Webb, Tatum Barton and Taylor Kornieck. CU recorded three goals in a game just four times last year…A late scoring change from the win at AFA added an assist to Kornieck on Webb’s goal…The Buffs are 2-0-2 all-time against the Rams and 2-0 at home. The teams played to a scoreless draw last year at CSU…CU coach Danny Sanchez brought Barton and Puketapu off the bench at Air Force. That duo combined for 14 goals and four assists last year…Former CU coach Bill Hempen is in his sixth season as the Rams’ head coach…CSU opened the season with a 1-1 draw at Denver on Thursday.
