Hasaan Hypolite, a three-star safety prospect from Texas, gave his verbal commitment to play football at Colorado on Friday night.
On Twitter, Hypolite wrote: “I just want to thank every school that has invested in my talents, my beautiful peers and family for everything you guys have done for me, with that being said I would like to Commit to Colorado University.”
The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Hypolite stars at Hightower High School in Missouri City, Tex. He has about a dozen scholarship offers, according to Scout.com, including from Houston, New Mexico and Texas Tech.
Rivals.com and Scout.com both give Hypolite a three-star rating. He took an official visit to CU the weekend of Sept. 22.
Hypolite is the 18th player to commit to CU for the 2018 class, and he’s the fifth defensive back to commit.
