The awards keep pouring in for the red-hot University of Colorado soccer team.

Following shutout victories against Oregon and Oregon State, senior Morgan Stanton has been named the Pac-12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week. It is the fourth weekly honor of the season for the Buffs, whose nine straight victories allowed CU to join the national top-25 poll for the first time this season at No. 23.

Redshirt freshman Jalen Tompkins won the league’s goalkeeper of the week honor in consecutive weeks, while freshman Taylor Kornieck, the Pac-12’s co-leader in goals with 10, earned last week’s Offensive Player of the Week award.

Stanton has paced a defensive effort that has seen the Buffs allow just one goal in five conference games. She also earned a Defensive Player of the Week award in 2014.

Off to the first 5-0 start in conference play in the program’s history, CU will seek its 10th consecutive victory Friday in a Pac-12 battle against Washington at Prentup Field (3 p.m.)
