Position: Running back
Weight: 195 pounds
Numbers: Carr ranks fifth on the team with 228 rushing yards while averaging 4.6 yards per carry. Carr missed two games with an injury early in the year and then took a few weeks to break into the rotation. Two weeks ago at UCLA he had 100 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
Potential impact vs. USC: CU coaches love Carr’s talent and believe he’s doing a nice job of grasping the offense. That has led to him having a bigger role in the past few weeks. He could be a key to getting the running game going, and he’s always a threat to break a long run.
He said it: “I’m having a lot of fun just going out there and fighting for it. It’s fun playing football. (Being in a rotation at tailback) is not hard at all. We’re going to keep rotating our guys and keep going out there.”
