CU football: Mike Pritchard gives thumbs-up to 30 for 30 documentary

One of the stars, both on the highlight reels and in the more recent interviews for this week’s ESPN “30 for 30” special documenting the Bill McCartney-led football national championship team of 1990, has given his thumbs-up to the riveting documentary.

Former receiver Mike Pritchard, in town for Thursday night’s induction ceremony for CU’s 2015 athletics Hall of Fame class, gave rave reviews of the final product.

“Everyone has loved it. I haven’t heard one negative feedback at all. And this is across the country,” Pritchard said. “In the world of social media you hear everything, and even on social media people received it well and have a new respect or new perspective on CU football. We’re a generation removed from 1990. Now, because of the 30 for 30, maybe there’s just going to be another emergence of CU fans. I loved it. I thought it was very entertaining. Awesome.”
