For the second consecutive season, Colorado women's basketball games will air on a new radio home.

On Tuesday, the university announced its women's basketball games are moving to KHOW-AM 630 for the 2017-18 season, following a one-year stint on AM 1600.

Unlike the Buffaloes' time on 1600, there will be far fewer of the sort of programming conflicts that often forced coach JR Payne's club to another, less accessible airwave.

KHOW 630 is owned by iHeartMEDIA and boasts a 5,000-watt signal that can reach from Colorado Springs to Greeley.

The Buffs' broadcasting team of play-by-play man Cory Lopez and analyst Carol Callan will remain intact.
