The Colorado women's basketball team was to head West for a set of weekend games against the Oregon schools on Thursday, but Mother Nature had other plans.

Oregon State closed its campus on Thursday and will do so again Friday with 4-to-8 inches of snow expected in Corvallis. The Buffs and Beavers were supposed to square off at 9 p.m. MT Friday, but will not because of the storm.

Instead, CU and Oregon State will play at noon MT on Saturday. That change in schedule means the Buffs will attend classes and then work out at home before flying out to Oregon State on Friday.

It also means Linda Lappe's team, which was supposed to play Oregon on Sunday, will now face the Ducks on Monday at 6 p.m. MT. Oregon also closed its campus late Thursday and will be re-evaluating the situation Friday morning.

Utah's women's basketball team is also impacted by the storm because it was slated to make the Oregon trip this weekend, too. The Utes' games against the Ducks and Beavers were also pushed back to Saturday and Monday.
