University of Colorado junior Taylor Simpson will be headed to China this summer with some of her Pac-12 peers.

The Buffs' outside hitter is part of the conference's all-star volleyball team that will play seven matches over two weeks in Sanming and Beijing. Oregon's Jim Moore, a three-time national coach of the year, will lead the team of 12 overseas.

The team will practice in Los Angeles before arriving in China on June 17 in Shanghai. After spending a day sightseeing, they will travel to Sanming for matches against the professional team from Fujian Province and the Chinese Junior National Team from June 18-21. In Beijing, the squad will play the city's professional team and the Chinese Junior National Team from June 24-26. The team will return to the United States on June 27.

The all-star team was selected by the coaching staff and Pac-12 liaison. It includes three freshmen, six sophomores and three juniors. The team features one libero, two setters, three middle blockers and six outside hitters.

Simpson is the lone Buff on the squad.
