The University of Colorado men's golf team struggled along with most of the field in tough conditions and are tied for 12th after two rounds of the New Mexico William H. Tucker Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M.

Arizona State was the only school to keep things under par and doing so in both rounds, for a 5-under 571 team score. New Mexico is 11 shots back in second at 6-over 582. Brigham Young is in a distant third at 15-over 591.

The Buffs are tied with Arizona at 40-over 616.

Gusting winds, up to 30 miles per hour, prevailed much of the day. The final round begins today at 7:45 a.m. at the 7,562-yard, par-72 UNM Championship Course layout.
