Five other players with CU ties missed the cut Friday -- Steve Irwin, Jason Burstyn, John Douma, Tom Gempel and Tyler Engel.

Louisville's Kevin Bolles, Longmont residents Tray Shehee and Jonathan Chavez, and Boulder's Paul Wosachlo also missed the cut.
