LAS VEGAS -- Three Colorado tennis players advanced to the Round of 64 with straight set victories Wednesday on the first day of the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Mountain Regional.

Camila Belassi, Melisa Esposito and Monica Milewski all earned first round byes in the Round of 128 field, then successfully won their Round of 64 matches.

Belassi defeated New Mexico State`s Natalia Salum; 6-2, 6-1; Esposito eased past Paloma Navarro of Wyoming, 6-1, 6-1; and Milewski edged Hannah Dake of the Air Force Academy, 6-3, 7-5.

Milewski improved to 8-0 this fall with her win Wednesday, moving her into a tie for 13th on the school`s all-time singles wins list with 73.
