Bio: I first got into journalism writing for the school newspaper at Littleton's Chatfield High and continued writing and editing for the University of Colorado's Campus Press. Along with majoring in journalism, I got a "mini-minor" in theater.

I fell into education reporting at a previous paper and was hooked. The best part of my beat is talking to high school students. They're generally bright, creative, funny and, best of all, honest. Education also is in my blood. My mom is a recently retired kindergarten teacher.
