The Colorado women's soccer team already has put together a memorable season, with a third consecutive NCAA Tournament berth — and the fifth in six seasons — imminent for the 15th-ranked Buffaloes.

But CU has an opportunity to make a statement against some of the most nationally-renowned programs in NCAA soccer down the stretch, a run that begins Sunday at top-ranked and defending national champion Stanford. A look at the matchup:
