The Colorado women's soccer team continued its torrid run through spring soccer since coach Danny Sanchez took the helm in 2012.

Under Sanchez, the Buffs are 17-1-1 in spring play. The NCAA soccer season is during the fall, but spring games are a chance for young and new players to see some action and learn the system.

On Saturday, the Buffs beat Fort Lewis 1-0 and Regis University by the same score in a tournament in Denver.

Sophomore-to-be Kenzie Tillitt was the starting goalkeeper in both games, but she only needed to grab one save. Transfers Morgan Stanton (Santa Clara) and Kahlia Hogg (Florida State) each made starts for the Buffs, against Fort Lewis and Regis, respectively.

Nikki Machalek scored against Fort Lewis and Darcy Jerman notched the Buffs' goal against Regis.

CU's spring schedule continues in Boulder on Saturday with games against New Mexico and Northern Colorado.
