LOS ANGELES - Colorado's disappointing regular season in women's basketball came to a close on Sunday with an 84-50 loss to No. 25 UCLA at Pauley Pavilion.

The Buffaloes (12-17, 2-16 Pac-12) finished last in the Pac-12 and matched the 2015-16 squad for the worst conference record in program history. The 12th-seeded Buffs will face fifth-seeded Arizona State in the Pac-12 Tournament on Thursday.

Short-handed once again, playing without starting forward Peanut Tuitele (concussion), the Buffs trailed by 11 after the first quarter and never really threatened the Bruins (19-11, 12-6), who clinched the No. 4 seed for the Pac-12 Tournament. CU has had at least one starter out for the last 15 games.

Annika Jank had a team-high 11 points for CU, while also pulling down five rebounds. She was the only CU player in double figures, but Quinessa Caylao-Do and Alexis Robinson each posted eight points.

A pair of Jank free throws with 3 minutes, 36 seconds to play in the second quarter pulled the Buffs within nine, but UCLA went on an 8-0 run over the next two minutes and cruised from there.

Michaela Onyenwere had 18 points, while Kennedy Burke added 15 points and seven rebounds for the Bruins, who have won eight in a row against the Buffs.

The Buffs got off to a bad start against the Bruins. In the first quarter, they were 1-for-12 from the floor, with nine turnovers. At one point in the first half, the Buffs went 10 minutes without a field goal.
