While USC continued to dominate play at the Pac-12 Women's Golf Championships on Tuesday at the Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes, Calif., the Colorado Buffaloes struggled to a second-round worst 311 and dropped from ninth overall to 11th.
For the tournament, the Buffaloes are at a team score of 620, or 52 strokes over par. The Trojans are collectively just one shot over par (569), while Stanford (576) and Arizona (582) remain in contention with a day to go.
The bright spot for CU remains in Kirsty Hodgkins, who followed her round of 75 on Monday with a 72 to boast a two-day score of 147 — which puts her currently tied for 15th overall with two other golfers.
Malak Bouraeda remained in the top 45 individually after firing a 78 for the second consecutive day, but teammates Gillian Vance (79) and Kelsey Webster (83) dropped a few shots from their first-day performance.
Wednesday's final round begins at 3 p.m. MDT.
