CU women's lacrosse preview: San Diego State

MATCHUP: No. 6 Colorado Buffaloes (12-2, 4-1 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) at San Diego State Aztecs (8-5, 2-3).

GAME TIME: Sunday, 1 p.m. MDT, Aztec Lacrosse Field.

NOTABLE: The Buffs have suffered through scoring droughts of at least 30 minutes in each of the past two games. CU went 31:22 without a goal in last week's win against Stanford and was held scoreless for 35:02 while getting shut out in the second half of Friday's loss at No. 9 USC...That defeat left CU in second-place in the MPSF behind the Trojans...CU is trying to avoid the first three-game road losing streak in the program's four-season history...Dating back to a 10-6 loss at Stony Brook on March 31 and a 9-7 win at Delaware on March 29, the Buffs have posted season-low scoring totals in three of the past four games...The Buffs are 5-0 all-time against SDSU, including a 16-3 win last year at home...


The Aztecs are coming off a 15-3 loss against USC last week...CU completes the regular season next week with road dates against Cal and St. Mary's.
