Colorado tennis player Nuria Ormeño Ruiz is ranked No. 74 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association national singles rankings released Tuesday. It is the second time in her career that she has been ranked and the highest ranking of her career.

Ormeño Ruiz is 20-7 overall in singles matches, including a 5-2 record at the No. 1 singles position. She led CU to a 4-3 upset over No. 59 Arizona on March 13, defeating 27th-ranked Lauren Marker in three sets, her first win over a ranked opponent since 2013.

For her career, Ormeño Ruiz already ranks 26th all-time at CU with 58 wins and 14th in winning percentage (.659).

The Buffaloes will be back in action on Friday and Saturday at No. 20 Stanford and No. 1 California.
