Colorado's tennis team heads to the Pacific Northwest looking for its first Pac-12 conference winning streak this weekend when it faces Washington and Washington State.

The Buffaloes are coming off a 4-3 upset of No. 59 Arizona on Sunday, their fourth Pac-12 win since joining the league in 2011-12. They have yet to win back-to-back conference matches.

The Buffaloes take on No. 65 Washington on Friday at 2:30 p.m. MT and No. 58 Washington State on Sunday at noon MT. Both opponents are winless in Pac-12 play this season.

Washington has lost its past six matches, but has faced a tough early Pac-12 schedule with UCLA, Southern California and Oregon. Washington State opened the year 12-0 before dropping four of its past six matches, including all three Pac-12 matches.

CU is led by Nuria OrmeƱo Ruiz at the No. 1 position and is 19-6 overall. She is coming off her first win over a ranked opponent since 2013. The Buffs also got wins from Jeannez Daniel, Alex Aiello and Annabelle Andrinopoulos in its win over Arizona.
