TE DeVree signs with Patriots

Former Colorado tight end Tyson DeVree signed a rookie free agent contract with the New England Patriots on Saturday, joining former teammate Terrence Wheatley, who was drafted in the second round by the Pats.

The 6-5, 245-pound DeVree finished last regular season with 28 catches for 308 yards and six touchdowns. He was the Buffs' second-leading receiver.
