CU's Biglow nabs title at UCLA Heptathlon
Colorado assistant track coach and Olympic hopeful Heather Biglow scored 5,379 points while winning four of seven events last weeked to capture first place in the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational Heptathlon at UCLA.

"This was still a low-key event," said Biglow, a former CU All-American. "I am ready to move up to the next competitive level."
UCLA Senior Georgea Richards placed second with a score of 4,924.
Biglow, an assistant multi-events coach at CU, is currently training in Boulder for the 2008 Women's Olympic Trials, to be held in Eugene, Ore., in June.
Dizon on FSN

FSN Rocky Mountain's Tim Ring talks to Dizon about the former All-Big 12 linebacker's preparation for the 2008 NFL draft and how Dizon feels he performed recently at pro timing day. The show will re-air Friday at 6:30 a.m.
Time Trial Series set
Dates and registration details have been announced for the 2008 Boulder Time Trial Series, a seven-race time trial series from Lyons to Boulder that begins May 7.
Scheduled each Wednesday from May 7 through June 25, the Boulder Time Trial Series has become an annual fixture on the Front Range cycling calendar.
Categories are available for all ages and abilities from Junior racers aged 10 and above through men and women 65+.
The fastest single time for men and women will receive a $150 cash prize.
Also this year, a drawing for a Primus Mootry time trial frame will be held. The drawing is open to anyone who registers to race in the series prior to May 7.
