McFarland garners honor
Colorado forward Jackie McFarland was named to the Lowe's All-Senior All-America first team.

McFarland was one of 10 national finalists for the 2008 Senior CLASS Award, which was awarded Saturday to Stanford's Candace Wiggins.
Also on the Lowe's first team were: LSU's Sylvia Fowles, Maryland's Crystal Langhorne and Evansville's Rebekah Parker.
