CU women tied for second at Big 12

WACO, Texas — The Colorado women's golf team got off to a solid start here Monday at the Big 12 Women's Championship, shooting a 308 to finish in a three-way tie for second after one round.

Defending champion and No. 14 Texas A&M currently leads with a 300, followed by CU, No. 11 Oklahoma State and host Baylor all with 308.

Kansas' Amanda Costner leads the individual standings with a 1-under-par 71.

Three Buffs are tied for 10th at 4-over 76: sophomore Lindsay Caljouw, freshman Julie Kim and senior Hannah Hoch.

Caljouw was two shots out of the lead with three holes to play, but a double bogey on 16 followed by a pair of pars pushed her back to 10th.
