The Colorado Buffaloes have now been in the Pac-12 Conference for seven seasons, and at the end of each of those campaigns the Buffs have advanced out of the first round of the league tournament.

Another trend continues Thursday, as the Buffs take on top-seeded Arizona in the quarterfinals. It will be the sixth time the league rivals have met in the conference tourney in seven seasons. Here is a look at the matchup.

NOTES: It has been a turbulent year, to say the least, for Miller and his Wildcats. It began with now-former assistant Emanuel Richardson getting arrested in the FBI's college basketball recruiting corruption probe, and just two weeks ago Miller was implicated in an ESPN report alleging he was caught on an FBI wiretap discussing a monetary payment for a recruit...Arizona owns a 4-1 record against the Buffs in the Pac-12 tournament and has eliminated CU in four of the past five league tourneys. CU's only postseason win against the Wildcats was in the 2012 Pac-12 title game...The teams split the regular-season series, with each team winning at home...Ayton was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year...Wright went 11-for-20 in the two games this season against UA, averaging 15.5 points and nine assists...With seven rebounds in a first-round win against Arizona State, King moved into 15th-place on CU's career rebounding list. He needs two more to reach 14th-place and seven to move into 13th-place...Arizona already is bracing to lose all five players from its starting lineup. Jackson-Cartwright and forward Dusan Ristic are seniors, and Miller announced his other three starters — Ayton, Allonzo Trier, and Rawle Alkins — are planning to leave early for the NBA.
