University of Colorado senior Derrick White earned a spot on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District 20 Second Team the organization announced Tuesday.
White was one of 10 student-athletes named to one of the two five-player All-District squads comprising of Pac-12 Conference schools. The nod to the NABC All-District team is the latest in a well-deserved line of honors for White. The 6-foot, 5-inch guard was also selected All-Pac-12 (Coaches First Team, Associated Press Second Team), Pac-12 All-Defensive Team, All-Pac-12 Tournament Team, USBWA All-District VIII, Chauncey Billups Award (Team MVP) and received honorable mention to the Pac-12 All-Academic squad.
White led Colorado at 18.1 points, 4.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 51 percent from the field and 81 percent from the free throw line. He was the second-leading scorer in the Pac-12 during league games at 18.5 an outing.
Overall White is third in scoring, fifth in free throw percentage, sixth in assists, seventh blocks (1.4 bpg), 11th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8), 13th in 3-point percentage (.396) and 14th in steals.
