Another week, another round of Pac-12 power rankings. No surprise at the top, but there might be a few after that, as two teams in particular - Stanford and Utah - are starting to flex their muscles a bit.

1. Arizona (25-2, 12-2 Pac-12; Last week: 2): A great win at Utah followed by a dominating performance at Colorado puts Arizona back in the top spot.

2. Stanford (18-8, 9-5; Last week: 4): The Cardinal routed USC and then won convincingly against UCLA. They're 5-1 in the last six games, 6-2 in the last eight and nearly beat Arizona a couple of weeks ago.

3. Utah (18-9, 7-8; Last week: 7): From No. 7 to No. 3 after a loss?! Utes took Arizona to overtime before crushing Arizona State. They're playing as well as anyone in the conference right now.

4. UCLA (21-6, 10-4; Last week: 1): The Bruins looked like they had the goods to win the Pac-12 title (and I still expect them to contend for the conference tournament title), but then went to Stanford and lost. Not a terrible loss, but considering how good they looked in the four games prior to that, it was disappointing.

5. California (18-9, 9-5; Last week: 5): The Bears have been tough to figure out this season, with some great wins and head-scratching losses. Beating USC at home was expected, but losing by 20 at home to UCLA was a bit of a surprise.

6. Colorado (20-8, 9-6; Last week 6): The crushing loss to Arizona was disappointing, but it also made people forget that the Buffs had a really good win a few days earlier against Arizona State.

7. Arizona State (19-8, 8-6; Last week: 3): Just a week ago, the Sun Devils looked as good as anybody in the conference. Then, they laid a couple of eggs during the mountain road trip, falling at Colorado and getting blasted at Utah.

8. Oregon (18-8, 6-8; Last week: 8): With three consecutive wins, maybe the Ducks should move up. But, all three wins have been at home against teams worse than Oregon - Oregon State, Washington and Washington State - so I'm not ready to declare that the Ducks are back on track.

9. Washington (15-13, 7-8; Last week: 10): By virtue of their 24-point at Oregon State, the Huskies get to jump up a spot. They continue to be rather unimpressive down the stretch, though.

10. Oregon State (14-12, 6-8; Last week: 9): It wasn't long ago that I thought the Beavers among the top half of the teams in the conference. They beat UCLA and then went to overtime AT Arizona State. Since then, it's been downhill, other than a home win against Washington State.

11. Washington State (9-18, 2-13; Last week: 11): Getting swept on the Oregon trip last week extended the Cougars' losing streak to six. The good news? They get USC at home next Thursday.

12. Southern Cal (10-17, 1-13; Last week: 12): The Trojans have lost eight in a row since they somehow upset Cal at home on Jan. 22.
